Congratulations to all the high schools, colleges, and the Vikings on reaching a new milestone for Tackle Cancer! This past fall, $658,201 was raised for the Randy Shaver Cancer Research and Community Fund! Over the past 14 years, over $4,790,347 dollars has been raised by football programs in Minnesota!
The MFCA is grateful for the 180 high schools, 15 colleges, the Minnesota Gophers, and the Minnesota Vikings who joined the fight against cancer this past fall.
Monies raised for the Shaver Foundation go towards cancer research and patient aid that benefits all Minnesotans!
Roman Voss, a quarterback / defensive back from Jackson County Central High School was named Mr. Football for 2025 by the Minnesota Football Coaches Association (MFCA). The award was presented at the Mr. Football Banquet on Sunday December 7 at the Doubletree by Hilton Minneapolis Park Place Hotel in St. Louis Park.
