On behalf of the Minnesota High School Football Coaches Association, I would like to invite you to participate in our 14th Annual MFCA Recruiting Fair. The 2017 fair will be held on Monday, May 1st at 6:00 p.m. at the Doubletree Park Place Hotel in Minneapolis. This event is a great way to promote your players to colleges and is a great service to them.

Once again, you play a vital role in the success of this event. Please take time to submit information about your Class of 2018 prospects. The information should be submitted between FEBRUARY 27 AND MARCH 13. We have partnered again with Preptree to collect and distribute the information to colleges. This is the best way to efficiently get your recruits’ information to upper-Midwest colleges.

Please follow these instructions to submit your information to Preptree. Once the information has been submitted, your prospects will receive user names and temporary passwords so they can manage their information on Preptree. Prospects can also link video and add academic information to their profiles. This simplifies the process for you and enables them to better manage their recruiting information.

How to submit your information:

1. If you have a Preptree account, click here and log in to your account. If you have a Preptree account, but don’t remember your password, click here to reset your password. If you don’t have a Preptree account or don’t know if you do,click here to create one. Contact Preptree at feedback@preptree.com with questions.

2. After you log in, click ADD RECRUITS at the top of the screen.

3. Enter the information for each of your prospects (ensure you click Submit at the bottom of the page to save the information) then update your information on your profile page (click the upper-left menu link).

IF YOU PLAN ON ATTENDING THE FAIR, EMAIL JEFF FERGUSON (jeff.ferguson@totinograce.org) BY APRIL 3rd SO WE CAN ACCOMMODATE YOU. High school coaches will have a table and chair where they can meet with college coaches to discuss their prospects. Wireless Internet will be available so feel free to bring a laptop to review your video and/or Preptree profiles. It is also a good idea to bring academic information about your prospects because we cannot include it in the information we distribute.

The MFCA Recruiting Fair has been very well received. Last year over 40 colleges from the upper-Midwest and over 40 Minnesota high school coaches attend. We provided recruiting information from nearly 150 high schools, including information for nearly 800 prospects, to colleges. There is no cost for high school coaches to participate.

Attending the fair is a great way to promote your players, especially “under the radar” D2/D3 players. College coaches appreciate the ability to speak to so many high school coaches in one night instead of driving to each school.Remember, whether you are able to attend the fair or not, you should still submit the prospect information for your 2018 graduates to Preptree. Thank you!

Last year over 40 upper-Midwest colleges and over 40 Minnesota high school coaches met face-to-face at the Recruiting Fair, saving both groups time and money. The inaugural Recruit Combine was also a success, drawing 185 talented high school student-athletes and dozens of college coaches, who were able to evaluate numerous potential prospects in one setting.

Last year, as part of the Recruiting Fair, participating colleges also received the recruiting information of nearly 150 high schools, including nearly 800 Class of 2017 prospects. In addition, they received the Recruit Combine measurements/results. Once again, we have partnered with Preptree to collect/distribute the Recruiting Fair information and to conduct the Recruit Combine. Preptree increases recruiting productivity by providing a platform for recruits and coaches to exchange recruiting information online.

Participating colleges will receive a spreadsheet containing the Recruiting Fair information by March 20th. They will also receive access to the same information on Preptree at www.preptree.com. We are paperless again this year so printed books will not be distributed. You can print information in advance of the Recruiting Fair or access the spreadsheet and Preptree profiles on a laptop/mobile device at the event (wireless Internet will be available).

Per college: $200 (registration prior to April 29th); $250 (registration after April 28th)

3. Admittance to the 14th Annual MFCA Recruiting Fair - Powered by Preptree

4. Admittance to the 2nd Annual MFCA Recruit Combine - Powered by Preptree, including access to the combine results

Note: If you register prior to April 29th, you will receive the Recruiting Fair information via email after we receive your payment (March 20th at the earliest) and a list of Recruit Combine participants by April 28th.
